During a counterattack in the Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces seized and destroyed over 100 units of Russian military equipment. And this refers only to the equipment whose capture or destruction was confirmed by images.

On September 9, the Russian army was left without T-64BV, T-72B, T72B3 and T-72B3 tanks of the 2016 model. A total 12 tanks were seized by the AFU, and one more may be repaired. BMP-1, BMP-2 combat vehicles, MTLB tractors, BTR-80 and BTR-82A armored personnel carriers also came under the control of the Ukrainian army. In addition, several Msta 152-mm howitzers, Tunguska and Shilka surface-to-air missile systems were seized on September 9.

On September 10, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continued to expel the Russian army from the Kharkiv region. As a result, several more T-72 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers were seized. In addition, two Tiger-M armored vehicles and a Su-34 fighter jet were destroyed.
