Not just wooden HIMARS: The Ukrainian Armed Forces made NASAMS SAMs out of wood so that the Russian aviation wasted expensive missiles on them
Recently we told that the Ukrainian Armed Forces made copies of HIMARS from wood and The Ukrainian Armed Forces made wooden replicas of HIMARS and forced the Russians to spend 10 cruise missiles worth $65,000,000 on them. Now there is information about another decoy.
Here's What We Know
We are talking about a wooden anti-aircraft missile system NASAMS. The photo of the fake target was published in Twitter. The installation was photographed in the Mykholaiv region. Up close you can see that the SAM is not real, but from the air it's impossible to distinguish the real target from the fake one.

By the way, according to the Pentagon's latest statements, there are no NASAMS SAMs in Ukraine right now. The first batch of the systems should arrive to us before the end of fall.
