Ukrainian Armed Forces Seize Two Russian T-80BV Battle Tanks
The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to publish videos of captured equipment. Recently, the Defense Forces were able to capture two more tanks.

The new trophies of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were T-80BV tanks. They were adopted into service in 1985. As of September 26, Ukrainian servicemen have already captured almost 400 Russian tanks.
Flashback
The T-80BV is one of the six tanks of the T-80 series. It was adopted into service in 1985. Its combat weight is almost 44 tons. The tank has no active protection, but boasts the dynamic protection "Contact-1".
The fighting vehicle is equipped with a 2A46M-1 cannon with 38 rounds of ammunition and a Reflex-M guided missile kit. The GTD-1000FT engine has a power rating of 1100 hp and enables the tank to reach a speed of up to 70km/h on a freeway. The T-80BV has a cruising range of 500 km.
