The AFU destroyed the newest upgraded Russian T-80BVM tank of 2018
According to OSINT expert Jakub Janovsky, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to destroy Russia's newest modernized T-80BVM tank.

The T-80BVM is an upgrade of the T-80BV. The tank was adopted by the Russian army in 2018. Recently, the armed forces of the Russian Federation received a new batch of combat vehicles.
The T-80BVM uses the "Relikt" dynamic protection, while the tank cannot boast of active protection. The gas turbine engine GTD-1250 has a power of 1250 horsepower. The maximum speed of the fighting vehicle is 80 km/h, and the range is 500 km on the highway.

The T-80BVM weighs about 46 tonnes, two tonnes less than the T-80BV. The arsenal of the tank includes the Reflex-M guided missile system and the 2A46M-4 gun with 45 rounds of ammunition.
We would like to add that during September 29, OSINT experts confirmed the destruction of four T-80BV tanks and one T-72B. Two T-80BVs and one T-72B3 of 2016 model were also captured.
