The Russians have found an interesting way to strengthen the protection of their tanks. For this purpose they decided to use two complexes of dynamic protection at once.

It seems that Russian tankers remembered the lifehack about contraception and wanted to provide double protection against anti-tank missiles in the same way. A tank with a second-generation modular system, Contact-5, on top of which the first-generation Contact-1 system was installed, was spotted at the front.

According to the Russian military's idea, the Contact-1 will protect against the first missile hit, while the Contact-5 will protect against the second. But it does not work that way. The "Kontakt-1" dynamic protection system can indeed protect the crew and the fighting vehicle when hit by an anti-tank missile or a shaped charge ammunition. However, if it goes off, it will blow up the Contact-5 along with it.
