The Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured a unique Russian T-72B3 tank in the Kherson region.

Here's What We Know

The fighting vehicle was seized during the liberation of territories from Russian troops. The uniqueness of this particular instance of the T-72B3 is in the additional armor. The Russian military used stolen sewer hatches to reinforce the tank's protection.

The Ukrainian armed forces also captured a rare 122-mm Grad-1 multiple launch rocket system. The launcher is located on the chassis of a ZIL-13 vehicle. It uses 36 rails to launch rockets, while in the more common modification BM-21 "Grad" their number is increased to 40.
