Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawieckiego told in a news conference that Poland is ready to hand over F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
The Polish prime minister said that the main condition for the transfer of combat aircraft to Ukrainian forces is the support of this decision by other NATO members.
As it happened a few months ago in the context of MiGs, so will any other aircraft be implemented and possibly transferred in coordination with NATO countries. Here we will act in full coordination.
It should be noted that Poland is the main European lobbyist for Ukraine's military interests and needs.
We hope that in the near future, thanks to the Polish initiative, the skies of Ukraine will also be protected by modern F-16 fighters.
