Cheap FPV quadcopter destroys Russia's latest T-72B3 R2022 tank at a cost of several million dollars
Consumer drones have a good chance of becoming the most effective weapon in terms of damage per $1. The Ukrainian Security Service recently used such a drone to destroy the TOS-1A Solntsepyok. This time the Russian tank was unlucky.
Here's What We Know
A homemade FPV quadcopter will cost less than $500 if you're keen. But the key problem is the long wait for components from China. If you do not skimp on components, it is possible to assemble the drone for about $1000 with your own hands, although it is possible to buy a ready-made drone for such money. If we are talking about FPV, DJI has such model for $999 in Fly More Combo package.

Special forces of SBU Special Operations Centre "A" shot down one more occupant's tank.
The Russians tried to escape, but they were not very successful. And we will continue to begrudge the occupants until the full Peremohy ???????? pic.twitter.com/Yem69C783i
But even a $2000 quadcopter is more than worth the money. The Security Service of Ukraine demonstrated this. The official Twitter page of the agency published the video of the defeat of the Russian T-72B3 rd 2022 tank.
As usual, the video footage was interrupted when the drone flew into the tank. But the Security Service points out that fighters from the A Special Operations Centre were able to destroy the fighting vehicle. The cost of the T-72B3 r. 2022 is not specified, but it is known that the upgrade cost about $1 million per tank.
