Ukraine officially confirms use of British Storm Shadow missiles for the first time
The Ukrainian Defence Ministry has for the first time officially confirmed the use of British "square" Storm Shadow missiles. The relevant statement was made by Minister Oleksii Reznikov.
Here's What We Know
UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace arrived in Ukraine on May 24. He said that the United Kingdom had handed over the missiles to Ukraine because of Russia's constant use of long-range weapons to hit the population and civil infrastructure.
During a joint briefing, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov officially said that the Armed Forces were already using missiles on the battlefield. In particular, he said that the ministers had an opportunity to shake hands with pilots who were trained in the UK and successfully use Strom Shadow.
I was glad to host my great friend Ben Wallace, @BWallaceMP, in Kyiv.

Reznikov also posted a photo on Twitter in which the Su-24MR can be seen. It is likely to be the type of aircraft used to launch Storm Shadow.
