Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian T-62MV tank

The Russian army has lost another T-62MV tank. Video of the destroyed fighting vehicle was published by Ukraine Weapons Tracker analysts on Twitter.

Here's What We Know

The T-62MV has been destroyed by soldiers of the 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk region. It is possible that it is a 2022 model tank. According to Oryx, the Russian army has lost 54 T-62M tanks, two T-62M tanks of 2022 model and 14 T-62MV tanks since 24 February 2022.

Note that the T-62MV appeared in one of our recent stories. A trophy Russian tank was used as a target for a Leopard 2A6. A Ukrainian tanker published a photo showing the pierced armour of the Russian fighting vehicle.
