Ukrainian Armed Forces hit two Russian T-80BV tanks
One more T-80BV tank can be added to the list of destroyed Russian tanks. A second such tank was damaged and abandoned.

Both combat vehicles were hit by anti-tank mines in Donetsk region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces finally destroyed one of the tanks. The second one was abandoned by the Russian military. It is not ruled out that it will be evacuated.

The T-80BV is one of several modifications of the T-80. This version emerged in 1985. It is equipped with dynamic protection "Contact", 2A46M-1 cannon, GTD-1000TF engine of 1100 horsepower, can reach 70 km/h on a highway and has a cruising range of 500 km.
According to Oryx analysts, the Russian army has lost almost 300 T-80BV tanks. And here we are talking only about combat vehicles whose capture or destruction has been confirmed on video or photo.
