Ukrainian drone burns Russian upgraded T-72B tank with one F-1 grenade
The Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to destroy a tank. The Russian army fighting vehicle was probably abandoned.
Here's What We Know
Last week we wrote about how a Ukrainian drone destroyed an MT-LB armoured personnel carrier equipped with a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun. This time, the drone torched a T-72B tank. Again, an F-1 grenade was used.

The T-72B is an upgrade of the T-72A tank. The fighting vehicle appeared in the mid-1980s. The tank is equipped with the 9K120 Svir guided weapon system and V-84-1 engine. The T-72B also employs the 'Contact' dynamic protection system. The kit consists of 227 containers. The tank is equipped with a R-173 radio which operates in the 30MHz to 75.9MHz band. The 2A46 gun has been replaced by the 2A46M.
According to Oryx analysts, the Russian army has lost about 1,000 T-72 tanks in various modifications since 24 February 2022. Several hundred combat vehicles have been seized by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
