Ukrainian Armed Forces fire artillery at convoy of Russian tanks

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have hit a convoy of Russian tanks. What is known about the destruction of the T-80BV.

The convoy of Russian tanks was detected by a drone of the 65th Independent Mechanised Brigade. The 44th Independent Artillery Brigade then struck with fire.

The extent of damage to all combat vehicles is not known, but it is known that a T-80BV was destroyed. As can be seen, the turret-mounted protection grille did not help.

Note that the T-80BV is an upgrade of the Soviet T-80B tank, which appeared in 1985. The fighting vehicle is fitted with a 2A46M-1 cannon and a Contact-1 dynamic protection kit. The engine has 1,100 horsepower and enables a speed of up to 70 km/h.
