Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian T-62 kamikaze tank with 6,000 kg of TNT
Have you heard of kamikaze drones? Russian army personnel turned a T-62 into a kamikaze tank, but it didn't reach its target.
Here's What We Know
Russian propagandists themselves have published a video showing the destruction of a T-62 tank. The remote-controlled combat vehicle, converted into a kamikaze tank, wanted to attack Ukrainian positions in Donetsk region.
The tank was manned with ammunition and 6,000 kg of TNT. However, the T-62 did not reach Ukrainian positions by about 100 metres. First, it exploded on a mine, and then the Ukrainian military finished it off with a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher.
To conclude, a similar situation occurred with a truck in the summer of 2022. The Russians created a KAMAZ-kamikaze filled with 152mm ammunition and TNT. However, 10 seconds after it started moving, it ran over an anti-tank mine and exploded.
