Armed Forces destroy Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter worth over $12m

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have shot down a Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter in Zaporizhzhya Region. This was reported by the General Staff.
Here's What We Know
The Mi-24 is a Russian attack helicopter that has the unofficial name "Krokodil". It made its first flight in the autumn of 1969 and will enter service three years later.
The helicopter is equipped with two 2,500 horsepower engines. The Mi-24 can reach speeds of over 300km/h, has a practical range of 450km and can fly at altitudes of up to 5000m.
Built-in armament is represented by YakB-12.7, GSh-30K and GSh-23 cannons. In addition, the helicopter can carry guided and unguided missiles, air-to-air missiles and bombs up to 500 kg.
