Ukraine's Armed Forces show video of combat use of the only trophy TOS-1A Solntsepyok flame-thrower system for the first time
The Ukrainian Defence Forces have already started using a captured TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flame-thrower system. It was captured last year in the Kyiv region.
Here's What We Know
The Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to seize the flamethrower system along with a stockpile of 220mm rockets. The TOS-1A Solntsepyok is rarely used due to its limited ammunition, but it demonstrates high efficiency.

The heavy flamethrower system is based on the T-72 tank. It uses thermobaric unguided rockets weighing over 200 kg and some 3.7 m in length.
The ammunition consists of an incendiary or thermobaric warhead, fuse and a solid propellant rocket motor. The launch range is up to 6,000 metres.
