Ukrainian Armed Forces show first video of Swedish Stridsvagn 122 tanks
The Ukrainian Defence Forces have finally shown a video of Swedish Stridsvagn 122 tanks. This happened almost two months after the Armed Forces fighters completed their training programme in Sweden.
Here's What We Know
In February 2023, Sweden announced that it was ready to hand over 10 tanks to Ukraine. Stridsvagn 122 is a Swedish modification of the German Leopard 2A5 main battle tank.

The combat vehicle has a reinforced undercarriage and has additional armour modules. The tank has a GALAX system on board, which provides the ability to launch high-explosive and specialised munitions.
The Stridsvagn 122 is powered by a 1,500 horsepower engine. It allows the tank to accelerate up to 72 km/h on the motorway. In terms of combat capabilities, the Stridsvagn 122 is equipped with a 120mm Rheimentall cannon and a pair of 7.62mm machine guns.
