Ukrainian FPV drone destroyed a rare Russian 2S4 Tulpan self-propelled mortar capable of firing nuclear warheads
A few days ago, the Russian army lost another relatively rare 2S4 Tulpan mortar. It was destroyed by a Ukrainian kamikaze drone.
Here's What We Know
The day before we wrote about the elimination of a self-propelled mortar using a high-precision munition GMLRS. This time it was possible to destroy 2S4 "Tulpan" by a cheaper FPV drone. A kamikaze drone costs up to $1,000, while one projectile for HIMARS costs almost $200,000.

The 2S4 Tulpan is a relatively rare mortar. According to Oryx analysts, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have only been able to destroy 13 self-propelled mortars in almost a year and a half. Another one was damaged.
A notable feature of the 2S4 Tulpan is the ability to use nuclear munitions. In particular, we are talking about 3VB4 and 3VB11 mines with a range of up to 9.5 kilometres and up to 18 kilometres respectively.
