The Armed Forces of Ukraine received M2A2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles with American dynamic protection Bradley Urban Survival Kit
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have been using US M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles for several months now. Recently, one of the servicemen published a video that revealed an interesting feature of the vehicles.
Here's What We Know
The Ukrainian Defence Forces received about two hundred American infantry fighting vehicles in the M2A ODS modification. New photos and video showed that the Bradley has a dynamic defence, which is called Bradley Urban Survival Kit (BUSK).
The AFU is training with the M2 Bradley, which is fitted with the Bradley Urban Survival Kit (BUSK) dynamic side protection. This is usually used in urban environments, where a soldier with an RPG can jump out from around a corner and shoot at close range. pic.twitter.com/mIEgy21sB5

The kit is designed specifically for these M2 Bradley fighting vehicles. BUSK provides additional protection against grenade launchers and anti-tank missiles. The armour is used in urban environments where the enemy can strike at close range.
The developers did not disclose the detailed characteristics of BUSK. Dynamic protection containers can be mounted on the turret, as well as on the front and sides of the infantry fighting vehicle.
