The SHARK drone helped the HIMARS missile system destroy the launcher and targeting station of the Buk-M2 surface-to-air missile system with two hits
The Ukrainian Defence Forces damaged two components of the Buk-M2 surface-to-air missile system. The strike was carried out by the M142 HIMARS or M270 MLRS missile system.
Here's What We Know
The defence forces had enough two high-precision GMLRS munitions to destroy the two components of the complex. The video shows the destruction of the radar station and the launcher. The self-propelled launcher is not seen in the footage, but it should be noted that the radar is an equally important target.

The radar missile illumination and guidance station is called 9S36. It allows the Buk-M2 surface-to-air missile system to simultaneously respond to a maximum of four air threats. The antenna can extend to a height of up to 21 metres and is a phased array with an electronic scanner.
The launcher of the Buk-M2 surface-to-air missile system is called 9A316. It was given the ability not only to store, but also to launch missiles when working together with the 9S36 radar station.
