The AFU struck airports where Russian Ka-52, Mi-28 and Mi-8 helicopters were based
On the night of October 17, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully attacked airports in the temporarily occupied territories.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by the Centre for Strategic Communication StratCom Ukraine. We are talking about the attack on airports near occupied Luhansk and Berdyansk, where the enemy's army aviation (Ka-52, Mi-28 and Mi-8 helicopters) was based.
There is no official information on how many helicopters were hit by the AFU, but according to Russian propagandists, this is one of the most serious strikes in the entire full-scale war. By the way, Russian propagandists also claim that the strike on the airports was carried out using ATACMS ballistic missiles, although officially the USA has not yet supplied Ukraine with missiles of this type.
