The AFU showed the first footage of the US M1 Abrams tank in action

In October 2023, the USA transferred a batch of M1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. Now the AFU has shared the first footage of the combat operation of the machine.

The video was published by the press service of the 47th separate mechanised brigade. The video shows how the Ukrainian crew of M1 Abrams works on the enemy. The video was filmed near the town of Avdeevka. By the way, according to the press service, M1 Abrams tanks have been on the front for more than a month.

M1 Abrams is a third-generation main battle tank manufactured by the United States. The tank is named after General Creighton Abrams, former Chief of Staff of the US Army and commander of US forces in Vietnam from 1968 to 1972. The Abrams is a heavily armed, armoured, mobile combat vehicle designed to fight in a variety of environments. Ukraine has received 31 Abrams tanks from the United States.
