Lithuania will repair 12 Ukrainian self-propelled howitzers Panzerhaubitze 2000
In mid-September, it became known that Ukraine will be able to repair German self-propelled howitzers Panzerhaubitze 2000 in Lithuania at the joint venture of Rheinmetall and KMW at a joint venture of Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anušauskas said that more than ten howitzers would be sent for repair.

The head of the Lithuanian defense ministry wrote in Twitter that the first two self-propelled artillery pieces had Lithuania has repaired German PzH 2000 SAUs and already sent them to Ukraine. Two more howitzers are on their way back. Lithuania plans to repair at least 12 Panzerhaubitze 2000.

In total at the disposal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine there are 22 self-propelled artillery systems, transferred by Germany and the Netherlands (14 and 8 respectively). They include four Panzerhaubitze 2000, which Already in Ukraine: Germany has handed over an additional batch of MARS II rocket launchers, Panzerhaubitze 2000 SAU, and two surface drones to the Ukrainian armed forces.
