The footballers left for Qatar from the military part of Okęcie Airport in Warsaw. The country's Ministry of Defense authorized the use of F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters, which flew from the airbase in Krzesiny, to escort them.

It is worth noting that the Polish Army has 48 fourth generation fighters F-16 Fighting Falcon. The basis of the air fleet are aircraft upgraded to the Block 52+ level.
