MiG-31K fighter, which can carry hypersonic rockets "Dagger", caught fire in Belarus
A Russian MiG-31K fighter jet went out of service at the airfield in Machulishchi, Belarus, because of a fire.

On December 13, three planes arrived in Belarus from Russia. One of them caught fire on December 25. This was reported by the Belarusian monitoring group "Belarusky Gayun. According to their information, the fighter plane failed as a result of an engine fire.
The extent of the damage to the Russian fighter is not yet specified. There is also no information about how disabled it is. The aircraft with registration number RF-95194 was damaged.
The MiG-31K is a carrier of KINZHAL hypersonic missiles, which can reach speeds of over Mach 5 (6174 km/h) and is a modification of the Iskander ballistic missile. Ukraine's air defense system cannot shoot down such missiles. However, Russia uses them very rarely.
