Aircraft revolt: Japanese F-15J fighter wanted to flee an airbase during an alert
A Japanese F-15J fighter did not want to take to the skies as Japan sounded the alarm over foreign aircraft near the country's borders. The aircraft decided to leave the airbase.

While the F-15J was preparing to fly, the fighter began moving on its own and left the runway. No personnel were injured as a result of the incident.

The incident took place at Japan's Nyutabaru Air Force Base (Nyutabaru). The Ministry of Defence of the Land of the Rising Sun announced the launch of an investigation into the cause of the incident.
The unfortunate situation occurred with the aircraft of the 305th tactical fighter squadron. F-15J fighters of the 23rd Training Squadron and UH-60J helicopters are stationed at the airbase.
