Not just AGM-158B JASSM-ER cruise missiles: the Netherlands buys Israeli PULS MLRSs with a range of up to 300km

The Kingdom of the Netherlands, in addition to the AGM-158B JASSM-ER aircraft cruise missiles, is also buying advanced multiple-launch rocket systems.

Here's What We Know

This has been announced by the country's Ministry of Defence. It is about the Israeli PULS multiple rocket launchers. Unfortunately, the details of the contract have not been disclosed by the Netherlands. All that is known is that the armed forces will receive the first systems this year.

Flashback

The PULS (Precise & Universal Launching System) is an Israeli Multiple Launch Rocket System manufactured by Elbit Systems. It is an improved version of the Lynx MLRS.

The launcher was developed in 2018. PULS is available in different modifications. The system has two containers that can carry different types of missiles. The maximum target engagement range reaches 300 km (with Predator Hawk ballistic missiles).
