Ukrainian artillery destroys Russian 240mm 2S4 Tyulpan self-propelled mortar
Ukraine's armed forces continue to destroy Russian armoured vehicles. The 2C4 Tyulpan self-propelled mortar has recently been successfully destroyed.
Here's What We Know
Soldiers of the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade tracked the 2S4 Tyulpan in the Kherson region on the left side of the Dnieper River using an unmanned aerial vehicle. The self-propelled mortar was then destroyed with an accurate artillery strike.

The 2S4 Tyulpan is a self-propelled mortar of special capacity, developed in the second half of the 20th century in the USSR. About 600 vehicles were produced between 1969 and 1988.
The mortar is designed to destroy buildings, fortifications and enemy military equipment. The 2S4 Tyulpan is equipped with a 240mm cannon, which is capable of engaging targets up to 20km away. It is also equipped with a 7.62 mm machine gun.
