US Navy Northrop F-5N Tiger II fighter crashes in Florida
On the morning of May 31, a Northrop F-5N Tiger fighter jet crashed in Florida. The Navy plane crashed 40km from Key-West Air Force Base.

The crashed F-5N belonged to the 111th Fighter Squadron VFC-111 known as Sun Downers. The cause of the crash has not been reported. The pilot was able to eject into the water. An MH-60 Seahawk helicopter was dispatched to search for him.
The US Navy did not disclose the name of the pilot. However, the service said the pilot was taken to a Miami hospital, where he received the necessary treatment. The pilot's life is not in danger.
