The K239 Chunmoo launcher is located on a Jelcz 8x8 chassis (pictured above). Three Polish trucks were delivered to the Republic of Korea in the middle of last month. They have been upgraded and received new equipment.
Deliveries of the K239 Chunmoo will continue until 2027. The first multiple rocket launchers will enter service with the 18th Mechanized Division.
The K239 Chunmoo can launch four types of munitions of different calibres. Among them is the tactical 600mm Ure-2 rocket, which is an analogue of the US ATACMS. The launcher is also compatible with GMLRS precision-guided missiles.
