15 Leopard 2A4M CAN tanks will be deployed in Latvia. Canada has decided to send a company of German tanks to Europe to reinforce military units that are stationed near the Russian border.

The full deployment of the Leopard 2A4M CAN tank company is planned for the autumn of this year. There are now 800 Canadian Armed Forces personnel stationed in the Baltic country.
