MAGURA V5 - Ukrainian maritime attack drone with a maximum speed of over 75 km/h and a range of over 800 km

The Ukrainian defence industry has unveiled an attack maritime drone. It is called Maritime Autonomous Guard Unmanned Robotic Apparatus V5 or MAGURA V5.

Here's What We Know

The new development is a multi-purpose surface unmanned ship. In addition to combat missions, it can patrol territories, be used in search and rescue operations, provide fleet protection, as well as perform reconnaissance and surveillance.

MAGURA V5 is 5.5 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and can carry up to 320 kg of payload. The marine drone has a cruising speed of almost 40 km/h and a maximum speed of more than 75 km/h. The range exceeds 800 kilometres.

The developer of the marine drone is the Ukrainian company SpetsTekhnoEksport. MAGURA V5 was presented in Turkey at the International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2023), which began on 25 July and will last until 28 July.
