US prepares new 425m military aid package for Ukraine, to include laser-guided munitions to combat UAVs

The United States of America is preparing a new military aid package for Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
The information was shared by Reuters, citing US officials. The new aid package will cost $425m. According to the report, the USA plans to buy laser-guided ammunition for the AFU for $300m to fight against drones. This part of the weaponry will be transferred to Ukraine under the USAI programme. That is, the weapons will not arrive immediately.
For the rest of the amount, the US will transfer to the AFU ammunition for surface-to-air missile systems NASAMS, MLRS HIMARS, artillery, as well as anti-tank systems TOW, anti-personnel mines Claymore, small arms and trucks. By the way, ATACMS ballistic missiles will not be in the new package.
