Denmark buys Ground Master 200 radars from France's Thales with a target detection range of up to 250 km

The Danish Army has decided to purchase French Ground Master 200 radars.

The information was shared by the company-manufacturer Thales. We are talking about five stations. Thanks to Ground Master 200 Danish army plans to strengthen its air defence. The amount of the contract and the terms of delivery of radars are not disclosed yet.

Ground Master 200 (aka GM 200) is a modern medium-range radar. It is manufactured by the French company Thales Group. It is capable of detecting air, land and sea targets at a distance of up to 250 kilometres. For example, cruise missiles, aeroplanes, helicopters, UAVs, artillery, etc.
