US hands Ukraine new arms package, including AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-7 Sparrow air defence missiles

On 6 December, the United States of America announced the transfer of a new arms package for Ukraine.
What is known
The new package is designed for $175,000,000. It includes:
- AIM-9M and AIM-7 missiles for air defence;
- Additional ammunition for HIMARS;
- 155mm and 105mm artillery shells;
- HARM high-velocity anti-radiation missiles;
- TOW optically guided missiles;
- Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
- Over 4 million rounds of small arms ammunition;
- Vehicles for towing and transporting equipment;
- Ammunition for clearing obstacles;
- Equipment to protect critical infrastructure;
- Spare parts, maintenance, and other support equipment.
