Gepard self-propelled air defence systems, ammunition for Leopard 2A6 tanks and UAVs: Germany hands Ukraine new arms package

Germany has handed over a new package of military aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Here's What We Know

According to the government website, Ukraine received:

• Three Gepard self-propelled air defence systems;
• Ammunition for Leopard 2A6 battle tanks and spare parts for them;
• 2,500 rounds of 155mm calibre ammunition;
• Two HX81 tank tractors and two semi-trailers for them;
• Two border control vehicles;
• Two AMPS systems to protect helicopters;
• Two Wisent 1 mine clearance vehicles;
• Ten Vector reconnaissance drones;
• Eight Zetros trucks;
• Over 25,000 40mm shells;
• Medical equipment.
