The other day, French President Emmanuel Macron said that Ukraine would receive hundreds of bombs. Now there is information about what kind of bombs they will be.

Here's What We Know

According to the French publication Le Monde, we are talking about high-precision bombs AASM Hammer. They are produced by Safran Electronics & Defence.

The bomb is produced in different modifications. The basic version has a 250kg warhead, while the top version has a 1,000kg warhead. It can fly up to 70 kilometres. The AASM is launched from a variety of platforms including the Mirage 2000D, Rafale, Tejas, F-16 and Mirage F1 aircraft. Exactly how it will be used by the Ukrainian Air Force is not yet known.
