French defence minister shares details on supplies of guided bombs to Ukraine.
Here's What We Know
As we said earlier, we are talking about AASM Hammer aerial bombs. According to Sebastien Lecornu, Ukraine will receive 50 bombs every month. The first deliveries will start in January. As for the launchers, they will be Soviet aircraft.
The AASM Hammer is available in different modifications. The bomb can have a warhead from 250 to 1,000kg. The range of hitting targets reaches 70 kilometres. By the way, the company manufacturer Safran Electronics & Defence is now developing a new version of the AASM Hammer, which will be able to fly at 150-200 km.
