Microsoft has improved the performance of Android games in the new Windows 11 update

Microsoft has released a new version of Windows 11 for insiders.

What we know

The new software version has been released with build number 2206.40000.15.0 and contains an improved "Windows Subsystem for Android". The developers have focused their attention on improving the games. For example, they added compatibility with gamepads, as well as support for gestures that are available on smartphones and tablets. In addition, Microsoft improved scrolling, app settings, graphics, and added a minimum Android window size of 220dpi.

When to expect

A new test version of Windows 11 can already be installed by insiders in the United States. For all users, the update will appear a little later.

In case you didn't know

"Windows Subsystem for Android" allows to emulate the mobile applications. It can be downloaded from Microsoft Store and installed on any Windows 11 device, but only users of devices with touch screens will be able to play games.
