Microsoft has denied rumours of developing a standalone version of Minecraft for the Xbox Series
Yesterday, gaming news outlets broke the news that Microsoft may release a version of Minecraft for Xbox Series. Such a conclusion is made from the fact that at once two certification commissions issued an age rating of the version of the game for the current console of the American corporation.
Today Microsoft interrupted speculation and gave an official comment.

Eurogamer editors asked Microsoft for a comment and received a direct answer:" No, a version of Minecraft for Xbox Series is not being developed and no such project is planned.
All the more so that Xbox Series users can play Minecraft through backwards compatibility with Xbox One without any problems.
Representatives of the company explained the situation with a standard procedure of recertification of games in some regions.
