It's official: Activision Blizzard games will appear in the Xbox Game Pass catalogue in 2024. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) and Diablo 4 could be the US developer's first games on the service
Activision Blizzard has confirmed what most gamers have been guessing: after the final merger with Microsoft, its games will appear in the Xbox Game Pass catalogue.
Here's What We Know
The American developer explained that even if the deal is finalised in the coming days, Activision Blizzard games will not appear in Game Pass in 2023. However, there are such plans and they will start to materialise in 2024.
The first projects to be added to the subscription will be the shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) and Diablo 4. Obviously, after that other Activision Blizzard projects will become available in the Game Pass service, but it should be understood that the contracts signed earlier will not allow to add all the developer's games to the catalogue.
It's awesome to see anticipation building for Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III. As we continue to work towards regulatory approval of the Microsoft deal, we've been getting some questions whether our upcoming and recently launched games will be available via Game Pass.
