Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick commented on the finalisation of the Microsoft deal and revealed how long he will lead the company

The merger between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard was officially finalised today.

Activision Blizzard CEO and co-founder Bobby Kotick released a statement to mark the occasion.

Here's What We Know

Bobby Kotick thanked all employees for their contribution to the company and emphasised that the merger with Xbox will benefit Activision Blizzard and help it achieve even greater heights.

Kotick said that he will remain CEO until the end of 2023, will help to establish cooperation between Microsoft and Activision Blizzard and will give way to his successor. Who that will be is not yet known.
