Apple is suing the Ukrainian director of the film Apple-Man

Apple wants to challenge the Apple-Man trademark in court. Under this title, a film by Ukrainian director Vasily Moskalenko will be released.

What is known

The author of the picture himself told about this on YouTube. He calls his work the world's first superhero movie about a healthy lifestyle. €100,100 will be spent on the creation of the film. The funds were raised on the Kickstarter collective funding platform.

Vasily Moskalenko received a document from Apple lawyers, consisting of 467 pages and filled with legal terms. The director notes that the picture has nothing to do with the manufacturer from Cupertino. There is no mention of the MacBook, iPhone, or any other Apple products in the film.

Moskalenko fears that the Cupertino-based company may demand that the film be removed after release. But he stressed that he is open to negotiations with Apple.
