Another Miner Single-handedly Mined a Bitcoin Block and Earned $230,000

The administrator of the CKPool service reported that an unknown solo miner was able to independently mine the 264th block of Bitcoin. As a reward, he received 6.25 BTC.

The computing power of the miner equipment was 1.14 PH/s. It is considered a major player in its segment. 1.14 PH / s - the total hashrate of eleven Antimenr S19j Pro. Due to the high computing power, the chance to mine one Bitcoin block was 20%. As a result, the miner pocketed 6.25 BTC, which is equivalent to $230,000 at the current exchange rate.

Over the entire existence of the Bitcoin cryptocurrency, single miners were able to mine 264 blocks, which is less than 0.04% of the total number. The CKPool service is becoming a good place for solo searchers. Last month, a miner mined a block here with a 1 in 1,360,000 chance.
