Google creates a fund to support startups in Ukraine for $5,000,000
Google announces foundation Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund who will support Ukrainian startups.
What is known
The fund is designed for $5,000,000. This money will go to grants during 2022. Selected startups will receive up to $100,000 in equity funding, as well as the Google Mentor Program, Product Support, and Google Cloud Credits. In addition, the company invites Ukrainian startups to use the Google for Startups Campus in Warsaw as a temporary office.
“Supporting Ukrainian startups will help them succeed and create the technologies that Ukraine needs now. And as the region begins to recover, start-ups and technology companies will be key to rebuilding the Ukrainian economy, creating jobs and positively impacting cities, their homes.”
Who can apply
- Startups that were founded and based in Ukraine before February 24, 2022
- Startups that have passed the testing stage (MVP) and have proven profitability (product on the market / pilot version / early income)
In addition, startups with a mission of social impact will be a priority. You can apply for a grant on the official website of the foundation.
