Xiaomi is working on the flagships Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro: new items will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ chip

Xiaomi company presented flagship smartphones at the beginning of the year Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro and is now preparing their successors.

What is known

The devices will be called Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro. They've already been spotted in the database IMEI. First smartphone pass with model number 2206123SC and codenamed Diting. The second, in turn, has the number 2206122SC and the code name Unicom.

There are no device specifications yet, but they say that the novelties will be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen1+ processor. It will become an overclocked version of a conventional chip Snapdragon 8 Gen1. SoC should be announced next month, but smartphones will debut in early summer.
