The American company AeroVironment will transfer 100 Quantix Recon UAVs to the Armed Forces and Troops
The American manufacturer of military unmanned aerial vehicles AeroVironment has announced assistance to Ukraine.
What is known
Company for free will transfer 100 Quantix Recon UAVs to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense. In addition, Ukrainian defenders will be taught how to use them correctly. Deliveries of drones will begin this week. By the way, earlier the company AeroVironment together with the US government donated kamikaze drones to Ukraine switchblade.
What is Quantix Recon
This is reconnaissance drone with vertical takeoff and landing. Such a UAV is not amenable to radio frequency jammers. Due to this, he can fly unnoticed. The drone is equipped with two cameras: multispectral and RGB. The device is controlled using a special tablet. According to the manufacturer, one battery charge is enough for 45 minutes of flight. Over this time Quantix Recon is capable of scanning up to 1.6 square kilometers of land or up to 20 linear kilometers.
