Google has released the first beta version of Android 13: we tell you what's new

Google quietly rolled out the first test build of the Android 13 operating system.

What's new

Many small but useful changes. For example, the developers have installed the ability to control smart home devices when the smartphone is locked, returned the old program search to the Pixel Launcher, expanded the shade options for the Material You themes, and also changed the appearance of some elements of the system. The firmware also found an inactive face unlock function. It looks like it will only be available on Pixel 6 and newer smartphones.
