Modern OLED-panels easily adjust the refresh rate depending on the content in the range of 1-120 Hz. LCD-matrices cannot boast of such, but the developers are working in this direction.

Company Shenzhen Huaxing Photoelectric Technology, "daughter" TCL, announced a new generation of panels LCD with support for dynamic refresh rates in the range of 15-144 Hz. The developer does not specify with what step the switching is performed, but in any case, this should help reduce power consumption in modes where a high frequency sweep is not required.

The first smartphone with a new panel LCD can be Redmi note elevenT Pro. Its presentation will take place before the end of this month.
