For information about the members of the group, a good reward of $ 15 million is due. So, the reward includes $10 million for the identification or location of the group's leaders and $5 million for information leading to the arrest of anyone who colluded with Conti.

The FBI estimates that Conti cybercriminals have used ransomware to deceive more than 1,000 victims and extract more than $150 million from them. Last year, the FBI said Conti was responsible for hitting 16 U.S. medical and first responder networks. Conti is also accused of an April attack on Costa Rica's tax and customs platforms, which affected the foreign trade of the Central American country. And in February, the group promised to attack enemies of the Kremlin if they reacted to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

"By offering this award, the United States is demonstrating its commitment to protecting potential ransomware victims around the world from being exploited by cybercriminals," State Department spokesman Ned Price said.
